KENWOOD | Cook & Coffee

Source was given a wonderful brief from one of our most exciting clients, Kenwood. We were tasked to conceive a concept that best showcased their three brands at one stand at the Good Food & Wine show. All three brands Kenwood, De Longhi and Braun were to be included in the plan and we were to align this with their national marketing campaign where possible.

The theatre design went through many permutations, starting as a hands-on theatre with multiple stations and chefs, and finally becoming the Cook & Coffee theatre that was activated. We had a super high tech AV system which wowed the staff as well as brand demonstrations and Masterchef chefs doing cook-offs and demo’s.

In the Cook & Coffee Theatre top chefs representing each brand demonstrated some pretty impressive culinary skills for the public to watch.They all cooked and baked delicious and inventive recipes, showcasing the Kenwood , Braun and Delonghi equipment. Each show throughout the day was full of surprises with a cook-off and mystery baskets on the schedule.

In addition to conceptual work, stand manipulation, staffing and pre-show logistics, Source managed the theatre production, preparation of the chef’s demonstration ingredients and the overall running of the theatre.
