This month the Source Food team will be travelling to both Johannesburg and Durban for a few big and exciting events.
We will be flying up to Johannesburg for the SASKO Chef’s Kitchen at the Food Studio in Sandton, where we will be hosting a demo master cooking class for media personalities. We will be giving food styling and food photography tips and we have also created hampers filled with SASKO goodies and recipe cards that we’ve styled, shot and designed. Keep your eyes on our Facebook page to see our photos and get a better idea of this event.
We will also be in Johannesburg for the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge, where we will be catering the Discovery VIP section for 400 people; food supplied by Pick n Pay.
Towards the end of the month, we will be teaming up with SASKO again at the Good Housekeeping event ‘Very Merry’ in Durban. This event will be hosted at The Oyster Box hotel, where we will have a SASKO stand set up with a chef demonstrating canapes using SASKO products.
Cape Town is host to two Beer events this month, one of which we have a massive giveaway of a table for 8 friends at the Cape Town Bierfest. The entries are in and the winner will be selected at midnight on November 1st and announced on the 2nd. If you hurry, you might still be able to enter! The Source Food team will also be covering the Cape Town Bierfest this coming weekend, so keep an eye out to see what we get up to and what you can expect from this fun and exciting event, so you know to book your tickets early for next year. Our POP! Mobile Bubbly Bar will be at the Cape Town Festival of Beer, serving some bubbly and ‘Champagne’ sorbet to those who need a break from all the beer tasting.
