The last week of November saw one of our most fun, and tricky events yet, come together in a blaze of glory!
Our client, a big hitter in the booze business, hosted a creativity workshop for their marketing team over 2 full days in an awesome space in town. Our brief was deliciously simple – all meals should be as creative as possible! ALL meals, of which there were 7, excluding one night at the Pot Luck Club.
This brief was a dream come true for us at Source, and we got busy brainstorming original, inspired and imaginative food moments for our client. As an example we did the following for Tea Time on Day 1:
CONCEPT: What’s in the box?
One table set up with many hat boxes or varying colour and patterns. Each guest opens the box to find a myriad of bottles and boxes inside with which to make up their tea time treat (freshly baked warm scones wrapped in French linen tea towels; homemade berry jam; chunk of English cheddar cheese; bread crisps; tomato chili jam; a block of farm butter and a pot of clotted cream)
What’s in the box – Tea Time Day 1
When aspiring to impress with creativity, the importance of practicality and the guest experience are of utmost concern. We thus needed to create creative moments within the confines of a tight running order, whilst ensuring that the impact on the guests was positive at all times – with a little bit of crazy thrown in!
We love this Oscar Wilde quote so much so that we included it on some of the stationery at this incredible event. This is what it was all about.
We had a great time planning & executing this experience. Have a look at some of the pictures (like the images below) which show some of the fun we had, HERE.

We were lucky to work with some fantastically innovative people & companies on this event. A big Thank You to:
