Client gifting or corporate lunch drops that are designed around a specific campaign are then translated into food by us. Private chef experiences can also be used to reward or promote.
KRUG x Onion
The KRUG x Onion event was a unique celebration of onions and champagne.
The menu was designed around the humble onion paired with this prestigious champagne, each dish was onion inspired including an onion inspired dessert cheesecake tailored to the event!
Our team not only designed the menu but conceptualized and activated the whole event.
Pick n Pay Wine Club, Winemakers Table
2020 presented more that it’s fair share of challenges but our clients rely on us to innovate new and engaging ways for them to connect with customers in our new shared reality.
This was exactly what we did for the PnP Wine Club when planning their popular Winemakers Table event, considering social distancing and a safe interactive concept. From this challenge came the opportunity for the launch of the PnP Wine Club Virtual Wine Tasting platform. Our Source Team designed, executed and delivered beautifully packaged build-your-own canape kits that paired perfectly with the Pongracz Brut & Noble Nectar that was included in this exclusive offer.
Ticket holders were then invited to a new age pairing presentation hosted by PnP Wine Club online. Guest were guided through the tasting in a live stream by our very own Jonathan Moldan who was joined by Pongracz’s protege winemaker, Andiswe. Together they discussed the intentional complimentary profiles of the food with the bubbly and answered guest questions. This event was so successful that there are more planned for 2021.
Cape Town Cycle Tour
The Cape Town Cycle Tour in association with Pick n Pay is one of Source Food’s annual highlights of the events season. Providing unique food and beverage solutions across multiple activations from the pre race expo to corporate tents at the event start to the post race celebrations at the finish line.
Catering for over 50 000 riders and their families at the Stadium during expo week and establishing PnP’s position as a major sponsor by providing a delicious and healthy offering utilising fresh produce and convenience foods from the Pick n Pay range.
Race day is a celebration supported by 80 Source staff feeding over 15000 participants. A sense of fun and achievement is shared by all.
We Are Africa
WAA – The annual We Are Africa conference is attended by 4000 members of the travel and tourism industry from across the country over 3 days in Cape Town.
With such a worldly and hospitality proficient audience we are tasked with developing and executing an innovative menu that is inspiring.
Working with the allocated theme we rise to the occasion by creating a diverse menu that keeps people coming back for more each day, whilst also proving professional and helpful staff for the Front of House experience
Working with this international institution of luxury and exceptional quality, Source Food has created multiple food experiences for their discerning customers.
The most memorable being the internationally touring annual Louis Vuitton Trunk Auction. We created a menu fit for a king with a plated 4-course dinner.
PnP Cycle Tour
We have been activating on behalf retail giant Pick n Pay at the Annual Cape Town Cycle Tour for nearly 10 years. As a long-standing client of ours, we understand and translate their brand values and objectives with ease, even when catering for over 7000 individuals at the Pre-race expo to the VIP race Start experience to the public catering at the race finish. The event is an example of our logistical prowess.
DSTV Meal Drops
This is regular work we do for our partners Multichoice and DSTV, assisting them with client appreciation activations.
We treat agencies across the nation with corporate boardroom lunches inspired by specific channels or events to help the brand communicate with their multiple stakeholders through food.
Taking themes and executing them in multiple locations, from 10 people to 100 per drop, we deliver consistency and creativity in the food as well as décor.
