It is a sticky, tangy, fragrant syrup that is an essential ingredient in Middle Eastern Cooking.
We were playing with it at a dinner party, and the consensus was A: utterly delicious and B: that is tasted like melted down sour hard candy.
Used in cooking, marinades, salads and sauces it adds a sweet, slightly sour, slightly cough syrup deliciousness to a dish!
